Directional communication antennas are essential for the measurement and control of medium to long-range UAVs, as they provide high gain within specific beam angles. By directing the radiation and reception of signals, these antennas maximize energy efficiency, reducing energy loss and improving transmission gain. However, due to their directional characteristics, it is crucial for these antennas to be paired with a guidance tracking system, enabling dynamic tracking communication for UAV operations.
Our system employs BD/GPS modes and brushless servo motor control to achieve precise one-dimensional servo control for various types of directional antennas, including spiral, Yagi, and grid antennas. This setup offers greater stability compared to single-channel monopole tracking systems while being cost-effective and digitally advanced.
