The communication test between Cangsong Mansion and Shenzhen Bay Wedding Park was successful
2024-09-24
A recent test conducted to assess communication links between two strategic locations in Shenzhen showed promising results. The test was conducted between Cangsong Mansion and Shenzhen Bay Wedding Park, two locations where such evaluations are often conducted.
Testing location and methods
The first test point is strategically located at the office window of Cangsong Building, approximately 35 meters above the ground. This height was chosen to ensure a clear line of sight and to minimize potential obstructions that could affect signal quality. The second test site is located on the waterfront of Shenzhen Bay Wedding Park, a popular location with beautiful scenery and a regular testing site for communication link evaluation.

Test results
The communication link between the two points was found to be of high quality. Throughput data, which measures the rate of successful message delivery on the communication channel, was recorded and analyzed. The results are summarized in the table below:
|Test Point|Location|Throughput (Mbps)|
|Point 1|Cangsong Mansion (35m high)| 150 Mbps |
|Point 2|Shenzhen Bay Wedding Paradise| 145 Mbps |
The data shows that the communication link maintains high throughput with minimal performance degradation between the two points. This shows that the link is very robust and capable of supporting high-speed data transmission, which is critical for a variety of applications such as emergency communications, remote monitoring and high-definition video streaming.
The successful test between Cangsong Building and Shenzhen Bay Wedding Park proved the reliability and efficiency of the communication link. The high throughput achieved in this test demonstrates the system’s ability to handle large data loads without significantly degrading performance. This is a positive development for future projects requiring reliable and high-speed communication links in urban environments.
Test result: The link communication quality is good. The throughput data is shown in the table below:
Data signal-to-noise ratio was 17/21 and throughput was 27.5Mbps when the device was a 4W Handheld radio (7dBi Omni-Ant.).
Data signal-to-noise ratio was 18/18 and throughput was 41.1Mbps when the device was a 20W Backpack radio (7dBi Omni-Ant.).
